Awsome movie. Its MASTERPIECE. I have seen such a strong and amazing movie after a long time. Everybody must wacth this movie. Such a clever blend of Mahabharat and current politics, very few directors have guts to present such a beautiful story in such an amazing manner. Hats of to prakash Jha and all actors in the film RAJNEETI. Arjun rampal,Ranbeer kapoor,Nana Patekar, Manoj Bajpai,Ayay Devgan were Simply the best.........

Overall the movie is a good experience but it could have been excellent and the only gap i see is lack luster second half in terms of story and screenplay. The performances are however top notch all throughout the film. The pick of the actors are Manoj, Arjun, Ranbir and Nana. There is surely a need to cut down the movie by at least half an hour. The entire episode of Babulal (where his boyfriend gets killed in bed with him) was un-necessary. Also the scene where Ranbir's mother approaches Ajay Devgan to tell him that she is his real mother, lacks power. I seriously hope had that scene been given to Nana Patekar the impact would have been great.

And What to say about Sir AJAY DEVGUN---No can beat when it comes to acting..HATS OFF to Sir AJAY DEVGUN...The most powerful role given to the most powerful performer in the bollywood which which is KARAN in MAHABHARAT and SOORAJ in RAAJNEETI. NANA PATEKAR is just awesome..the only thing which was missing in the movie was SHAKUNI MAMA...

Politics are not my cup of tea, but the Reviews of Rajneeti are so positive, plus great actors are present in one movie. So I decided to give myself to the movie. Trust, I do not regret it. What a superb film. Dirty politics in Godfather style. This drama movie does not let you down; I was completely hooked to my seat. Great story; great dialogues and mind blowing performances from the actors. I believe after the great actor Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor is the best. He gives quality kind movie. He did comedy, romance, drama, but in this film, he gave a high voltage performance. Arjun Rampal is becoming so good in every film. It was a real pleasure to see Nana Pathekar, as usual, he is great. Katrina is great. I usually love Ajay Devgan a lot, but in this film I missed him a lot due to less focus. Otherwise, highly recommended!

Overall, the movie is pretty good, but not as outstanding as it should have been given the resources Prakash Jha had. The dialog was great in places and the performances were awesome. Also the film was engaging for the most part. My issue were things getting chaotic in the second half and the blatant ripoffs from The Godfather. I wouldn't have minded the ripoffs had they mentioned it in the promotions that it was Mahabharat meets Godfather,but they didnt mention Godfather. Also another scene that stuck out like a sore thumb was the sex scene between Arjun Rampal and Shruti Seth. It is by far one of the fakest, corniest sex scenes I have ever scene. Arjun is so far away from her when they are having sex he might as well be standing on the other side of the room. In a movie of this standard with such a strong cast and canvas, a scene like this should not be so clumsy and corny.

This is a decent piece of work. Hats off to Mr.Jha for bringing such a strong cast and crew team together and then getting the best out of this very talented team. Arjun Rampal, Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kappor give complete justice to their characters. Nana Patekar deserves that role and I can not imagine anyone else doing it better than him. Over all its a gripping story and keeps you on your seats for entire length of the movie.
