A movie always satisfies when you expect nothing. PKSE is one in the list. A decent script , neat performance and soulful music has helped the movie. The adult contents may keep the family audience away , it is a must watch for youth below 30. Mallika not only looked good but acted well. Rahul Bose as usual is brilliant. Suchitra pillai ittitates as her character is not well etched and Sharat saxena is adequate. Rahul's sister and brother-in-law were natural. The second half of the movie was little dragging by the introduction of baby girl and climax was funny and brilliant. Jane Kya was a perfect number and is the pick of the lot . BGM was average. I watched the movie for the second time . Go for It !! Movie will be looked by all youth and people young at heart and not sure about others !!

Bad taste, bad acting... why cant we have more clean nice comedies like Lago Raho and Khosla ka Ghosla... one expected another Jhankar beats from PNC.... but what beats me is that this crap is being accepted... god save indian cinema

Pyaar Ke Side Effects: Delicious!! Holy Smoke!! Men better watch out. Some of our closely guarded secrets are out in the open now. Women will now know what we are thinking when we propose to them; what we think of their bodies; their minds and their dads. Even more so what we think of them when we are with them and a hottie passes by. And the most dangerous; what we exactly mean when say “I want to marry you” and “I think this relationship is heading nowhere”. Men, Romans and countrymen; the game’s up and the secrets are out with Pyaar Ke Side Effects. The movie traces the story of Sid (Rahul Bose) from the time he meets Trisha Mallik (Mallika Sherawat) to the time he proposes to the time she proposes marriage. It also deals with his journey right from the engagement to the marriage. And the many, many issues and incidences that crop up because of their different backgrounds. He’s a Mumbaiite, she’s a Delhi gal; he’s freewheeling, she’s grounded to reality, he’s a DJ; she works for an event management company. They’re different but they choose to spend the journey of life together. The complications that arise form the crux of the story. The treatment of the movie is what makes it special. It’s a man’s view of the happenings and the dialogues that are used to support the views are extremely well written. The music by Pritam is very hip and happening keeping with the mood of the film. The cinematography is a major let down. Mallika Sherawat for the first time ever has shown signs of acting talent. She really appears comfortable as Trisha and looks the role. Sophie Choudhary needs to add oomph value to the proceedings and she does a great job of it. Between her and Mallika, they ensure that the front benchers will not be disappointed. Tarana in a small but significant role impresses. Ranvir as Rahul Bose’s roommate is a real rockstar. He exudes comic talent in dollops. Jas Arora and Sharat Saxena are adequate in their roles. But Rahul Bose is the real star of the film. He is the central character and carries the film on his shoulders admirably. He makes Sid look extremely believable and effortlessly charts the various emotions that his character needs to exude. The movie is unimaginable without him. Saket Choudhary’s direction is mediocre but he is aided by a fantabulous screenplay, a set of excellent dialogues that keep the audience in splits and a terrific actor as the lead. He needs to just ensure that the script is adhered to truthfully and manages to do a decent job of that. The movie does not hold mass appeal since a majority of its dialogues are in English and a few of the scenes may be embarrassing to the general public. But the insights into a man-woman relationship in its today’s times are so real and treated in such a delightful manner that the movie becomes extremely enjoyable. Watch it for sure; but only in a friend’s group or with your spouse!!

i had expected to be entertained when i went in the theatre to see the movie and boy was i delighted. full marks to saket for 'concieving and delivering' this complex plot with near perfection. Rahul Bose has just earned one more die hard fan for himself and the depth of my love for ms. sherawat has added one more yard to it. the flick is a must watch for every girl who is planning to get married and for every boy whose time has come ;-)

Well, when i entered the cinema hall to watch this movie, i had nearly zero expectation from this flick. Not because i hate Mallika, however the movies from the PNC banner have always disappointed me (except Jhankaar Beats which was awesome). They are more marketing oriented than their content (which is though good for them, but a cropper for any Bollywood fan). However the movie took me by surprise completely. The songs are rocking the music charts anyways. The movie begins with Rahul and Mallika with the latter proposing marriage and the former fumbling to give an affirmative answer. The movie takes off from there and you see how helpless Rahul becomes in his quest to understand women. Brilliant comedy from Rahul, wish we could see him more in big banner films. His comic timing is amazing. The scenes involving Rahul and Mallika's father are amazing. Also the bar sequence and the score board sequence is lovely. The second half however disappoints and is ok. Mallika sheds her glamorous image though she kisses Rahul umpteen number of times (less than Khwahish's 17!), Neighbour's envy and Rahul's pride though. A word of caution here: Take your boyfriend along and he is sure to behave the same way as Rahul does. Nor prizes for guessing he won't propose marriage to you. Or if you do, i am sure he will not commit as well.
