Cool romantic thriller from 2004, which was Shahid Kapoor’s second movie as a hero (his very first was actually Taal where he danced in the background in the song Kahin Aag Lage Lag Jave). It was also the second movie of the director, Ken Ghosh, who gave Ishq Vishk before this one where Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao got their debut. Surprisingly, despite Fida’s great qualities, it failed at the box office which is un-understandable. Maybe it was the bad luck of Shahid + Kareena-jodi? The story begins as a romantic movie, but at the middle it switch to an interesting thriller. The scenes are well executed, and its one of the few movies where Fardeen Khan suited very well in his role. In addition, Shahid and Kareena also provided good performances.
