With a weak script polished with style and glamour, Dhoom 2 makes you enjoy your time but fails to make a mark as a quality film. The movie starts with a childish theft scene that leaves you wondering if I should have paid for this movie. But soon Hrithik starts dancing to excellent moves of Shiamak Davar and the audience is back on track. The movie continues in this way on a business cycle with few ups and plenty of downs. Hrithik is simply fantastic in his role. His performance, looks, dances and dialogues makes you wonder if there is anyone better in the acting business. Ash is at best mediocre or otherwise pathetic. She is a script-based actress and the loopholes in the script are exposed strongly in Ash's performance. She looks her best in Crazy Kiya Re... but that's the best you get of her in the movie. You wonder if this is the same veteran who recently starred as a convincing Umrao. Uday is funny and does well within his role. Abhishek's peformance is disappointing after KANK. He fails to stand his own ground in front of Hrithik and in every area from costumes to dances, Hrithik steals away the limelight. Bipasha… she comes, she sees, she conquers and after the interval she falters. Her role later just seems pointless. Despite of that she looks great and leaves a mark among 3 other superstars. The movie looks great. The dances are awesome with Dhoom Again being the highlight. Costumes (minus Abhishek’s) are great. The dialogues are refreshing and so are the locales. All-in-all, Dhoom 2 is a technically sound movie let down by an extremely badly written script. The characters are hardly developed and neither are the relationships within the movie including the main lead. It is a good time-pass movie and that is what it will be remembered as or else just as a Hrithik Roshan starrer!

hellooo people once again, the indians are trying to pull off the copy of a english movie but this time unlike DON. it is a disaster...The unrealistic stunts, the meaningless songs, the cheap dialogues and the wordrobe...shameless ther were old people well married couples anll walking out the cinema after aishwariyas first appearance. at least i watched DON with my family and did not fell uncomfotable. FLOP i say DHOOM was soooo better then DHOOM2 i hope they do not make another.

I liked Dhoom 1 and hence went for Dhoom 2 and it has proved that not all sequels has to be interesting . You have good locales, neat photography , decent action and choreography and what lacked was a good screenplay which did nothing but testing tha patience of the viewer. Hrithik looked excellent but as a character neither he looked like a Romantic hero nor an action hero. Abishek should not have accepted such a mediocre role where he did not even looked like a second fiddle as it has been taken over by aishwarya.. Uday yet again successful being noisy and loud. Bipasha coming in bikni also could not hold the interest of the viewer as the movie as a whole lacked sensibility. What happened to Esha deol who walked with Uday in dhoom 1 ? did she ditch him as he lacked common sense. This question came into my mind as Rimi's character was retained. People can watch Dhoom 1 in DVD and have fun !! Hopefully there is not Dhoom3 to test the patience.

this is the most outstanding movie Hrithik or so called funny guy has given till yet... aishwarya is just like fabulous.........she is entirely in a new look........like a new aiswarya..... bipasha basu in the first half as a cop is quite good but she does not have enough role there.....except for creating a jealous feeling in the mind of rimmi sen who is pregnant....... bipasha in the second half in Rio is better than the first were she is unable to speak hindi.....and starts loving uday...... uday chopra spoils some scenes......but aslo manages a few quite good........ abhishek is handsome smart.........and cool guy throughout the movie............but he needs to improve to take the place of his father........THE BIG B..... the movie has a quite impossible situations.....but dont use ur brains while watching the movie.......enjoy it...u will like it.............

A very bad movie. Only gone to see because of media hype and so called Taran Adarsh, the so called trade analyst is giving only paid reviews these days and he must take a break. Only Hrithik is excellent in the film. I believe that the hype created by the media and film artists is because there is no cinema theater which is houseful. And if it is so then only for opening days. Everything else is rubbish about the film. Not worth wasting even 50 bucks on this movie. Super flop.

MY OPINION ABOUT DHOOM2 E X C E L L E N T This is the first word that came out after watching this movie. The movie is excellent for many reasons such as: - 1)Hrithik-Aishwarya pair shown so nicely for the fist time. They really look like MADE FOR EACH OTHER; as both have green eyes, almost equal height. It’s nice to see. I was waiting to see this pair on screen from quite a long time, as I liked them in their first ever commercial together of Coke almost 5 years back, but Hrithik was looking less confident at that time than today. 2)Aishwarya has done the role, which she should have done much early stage of her career to stay in the race. But I think no Banner other than Yashraj films could have dared to offer such role (with such dresses & scenes) to her. Thanks to Yashraj films. 3)The movie is technically perfect in terms of its editing, background music, actions; Hrithik’s escape sequences everything is as per the expectation. 4)Hrithik gives complete justice to the role of ‘Aaryan’ with his strong muscles, great dancing & energy, which is really original. Many times, he looks like a Hollywood star specially after watching this movie. 5)The director has handled this sequel also very nicely by showing one Love Story in this part. ‘It is difficult to repeat the Success’, but Sanjay Gadhvi has done it. The young look of the movie starts from its posters, which shows you Aishwarya like never before, Cool Hrithik, Strong Abhishek & also Uday & Bipasha as attachment through out the movie for their ‘Physique Show’. In this Dhoom, you will not see the usual Bike-Racing; instead the focus is more on smartness of ‘Aaryan’ (Hrithik) & his attraction of collecting all Antique things in the world (including Aishwarya Rai). Some questions still come in my mind after watching this movie that: - 1)How many ‘Bullets’ can one gun have? 2)Why Abhishek can hit 5 people at a time with single gun & not those 5 can hit Abhishek with 5 different guns? (Starting Scene). 3)Why don’t Abhishek Shave daily? Or alternate days or at least weekly? 4)Where is the ‘Police Uniform’? 5)If Hrithik is so much intelligent, how & why does he come to this line? 6)Why so much English is used between the songs? But after all, it’s a ‘GENERATION-NEXT’ movie, so we don’t mind it at all & enjoy it. It’s a DHOOM TIME AGAIN all over India & Overseas also one more time. Do watch it. My Rating- ***** (The Perfect Entertainer) What about you??????

Dhoom 2 lives up to and exceeds all expectations. The wonderful plot and dynamic action make it a must-see film of 2006. The story begins with Aryan (Mr. A)[Hrithik Roshan], a thief who is excellent at his job. Stealing crown jewels, gold, diamonds or anything that has worth, he eludes one very smart cop - ACP Jai Dixit [Abishek Bachchan]. Calling on the help of Shonali Bose [Bipasha Basu], Jai and "Sho" work hand in hand to decipher and reveal Mr. A. Aided by the trustworthy Ali [Uday Chopra], Jai and "Sho" finally get a brekthrough - but Mr. A is one step ahead of them. While stealing his next item, another thief comes along - she is none other than Aishwarya Rai. Seeing her skills. Aryan enlists her as one of his own and sets about doing caper after caper with her at his side. But little does he know that she is actually sent by Jai... Great Music (especiallty Touch Me and Dhoom Again), a master plot, superb action and witty dialogue makes Dhoom 2 a winner. Dhoom Machchale, AGAIN!
