Dhamaal is out and out comedy from first reel to last. The movie gets serious only in the last 5 minutes or so. It is definately an excellent movie with Jaaved Jaffery and Ashish Chaudhary to watch out for specially. Moreover, personally i m quite happy to see Asrani in such a wonderful and meaty role after so many years. The actor proves that he is still capable of doing wonders.
The movie is actually a laugh riot. The only let down factor is, the story is not original and is largely inspired by the great English classis comedy "It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World". In fact some of the scenes are directly lifted from that movie.
One more suggestion is, some scenes are stretched beyond a point for example the journey of Ritesh Desmukh and Sanjay Dutt. The best of the journeys is that of Ashish and Asrani. Vijay Raaz does a wonderful job in this.
On the whole, a great come back by Indra Kumar after a totally disappointing "Pyaare Mohan". On the box office the movie will do great.
