It is very close to 'Kahani' if not better. Yes, after long time, i have watched a very gripping hindi movie. Great performance by Amitaab (as usual) and Tapsi. Good to see an excellent acting by Amrita Singh as well. I have not watched the original movie and read that Badla is not so good compared to the original version. But it is well scripted and power packed. Length of the movie is also perfect for a thriller. The worst part was interval which should be avoided in a crime/mystry thriller
