Release Date Announced: Jr. NTR and Prashanth Neel's NTRNeel set to hit theatre on June 25, 2026

The upcoming film featuring Jr. NTR and director Prashanth Neel—tentatively titled NTRNeel—has officially set its release date. Backed by Mythri Movie Makers, the film is scheduled to hit theatres on 25th June, 2026, and is expected to deliver a mix of action and drama with broad audience appeal.

While plot details are still under wraps, the collaboration between Jr. NTR and Prashanth Neel is already generating significant buzz within the industry. Known for his stylized storytelling and large-scale action, as seen in Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, Neel teams up with Jr. NTR, whose strong screen presence has consistently drawn audiences, making expectations for the project notably high.

 

Jr. NTR returns to the big screen following the success of Devara: Part 1, which became the third highest-grossing Telugu film of 2024 and also performed well internationally with a theatrical release in Japan. Earlier, he was seen in RRR, which earned widespread acclaim and won the National Award for Best Original Song for ‘Naatu Naatu’ the first song from an Indian and Asian film to receive this honour. Meanwhile, director Prashanth Neel is coming off the success of Salaar, a box office hit that also saw sustained popularity on OTT platforms, becoming the first Indian film to maintain such a presence throughout the year.

 

 

 

The union of these two cinematic forces under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers has only added to the excitement. The studio is known for backing some of the most ambitious and successful projects in recent times, and NTRNeel is being touted as their most monumental venture yet.

 

Backed by Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts, the film aims for a grand scale, similar to the KGF series. The project is being produced by Kalyan Ram Nandamuri, Naveen Yerneni, Ravi Shankar Yalamanchili, and Hari Krishna Kosaraju. With Prashanth Neel’s distinctive storytelling and Jr. NTR’s commanding screen presence, the film is expected to make a notable impact on action cinema and potentially set new industry standards.
