Animal Box Office: Ranbir Kapoor starrer enters the Rs. 500 cr. Club; emerges as fourth release of 2023 to cross Rs. 500 cr

The Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal that hit screens on December 1 has proved to be unstoppable at the box office. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga the film which also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Rashmika Mandanna has maintained its momentum at the box office with each passing week. Now after 16 days at the box office, Animal has managed to make it past the Rs. 500 cr mark at the domestic box office.

Collecting Rs. 514.09 cr, Animal has emerged as the fourth release of 2023 after Pathaan, Gadar 2, and Jawan that has managed to enter the highly exclusive Rs. 500 cr club. In fact, while the Shah Rukh Khan starrers Jawan and Pathaan took 13 and 22 days respectively to cross the Rs. 500 cr mark, with Gadar 2 making it past this milestone in 24 days of its release, Animal has achieved this feat in just 16 days of its release. With this the Ranbir Kapoor starrer has also emerged as the all-time second fastest Rs. 500 cr grosser.

 

Currently, Animal that has received positive reviews from critics and good audience feedback continues to run. In fact, with audience patronizing the film despite it hitting screens weeks ago, trade predictions state that the business of Animal is likely to see further growth.
