Already a sought-after model, Shahwar Ali is now gearing up to try his luck on the big screen, thus joining the bandwagon of models-turned-actors. However, the unconventional-looking ramp walker is not starting off with any unconventional films.
I have an important role in Rajiv Rai's ASAMBHAV. It is an out-and-out Bollywood-style film. In all probability, it will be my debut film. And I am awaiting the day when the film releases, says he, moving on to speak about the other two films that he has on hand Meghna Naidu starrer HAWAS and 99.9 FM, directed by Sanjay Bhatia.

While it is interesting to see an influx of models in filmdom, what remains to be seen is whether this handsome hunk from Bhopal makes it equally big in Bollywood.
