On television Rahul Khanna proved to be quite a sensation especially with the teenage crowd. Not suprisingly he was signed by Deepa Mehta for Earth-1947 alongwith Aamir Khan. One must say that Rahul was quite appreciated in the film. Resultantly, there were many producers who wanted to sign him for their films. But Rahul was more keen on doing Hollywood films for which he had appointed an agent and also fixed a time frame. However, as today he has not bagged any Hollywood offers and in the meantime Bollywood has forgotten him. As they say one bird in hand is worth two in the bush.
