Karan's new project

There's not a day when the rumor mills decide to take it easy. In fact, you find a new rumor showing its head every single day. Here's another rumor: Karan Johar has decided to abandon the project he was to start with KAAL director Soham Shah. In simple words, Soham had been shown the door for reasons best known to Karan and Soham only. "That's untrue," Soham called to say, "In fact, I am leaving for Bangkok tonight [early Monday morning] to scout locations for our next project. The film demands a particular look and Bangkok seems like the ideal location." Yet another source informs us that Soham has decided to repeat Vivek Oberoi in his forthcoming project. True? "Believe me, nothing is confirmed yet. No single actor has been signed; not Vivek either. Why, I haven't even written the script, so the question of signing anyone at this juncture seems ludicrous," he states. Please continue. "I am in the process of developing the story idea. Everything is in the preliminary stages currently," he smiles. But Soham seems excited as he talks about his recent trip to The Hague, where KAAL was premiered. "It was a great experience. It's good to know that one more country [Netherlands] has opened its doors for Bollywood and will be releasing Hindi films theatrically," he says.
