Anil-Akshaye's dosti out of the window
Come I.I.F.A. Awards [on May 17] and Anil Sharma [GADAR, THE HERO] will launch his ambitious venture AB TUMHARE HAWALE WATAN SAATHIYO at the event in South Africa. Starring Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar and Bobby Deol in the lead, along with two heroines, the film will be produced by Sharma himself.
It's not a proper launch, it's just a formal announcement the cast and the team of the film will be introduced on the occasion, Sharma tells me, And as soon as I return to Mumbai from Johannesburg [the venue for I.I.F.A. Awards], I'll start planning the shooting schedules of the film. The shooting of this mega-project will start from June 25 in Mumbai, followed by a marathon schedule in Leh.
Although Sharma has finalised the male cast of the film, the leading ladies of the film are yet to be finalised. In between, there were talks that Sharma had almost finalised Aishwarya Rai for one of the lead roles. But the dates aren't matching, Sharma had told me some time back. So what's the position now? Well, I am still vacillating whether to cast known names or newcomers, he replies. Let's wait and watch!
