The Vikas Bahl directed film Super 30 that features Hrithik Roshan in the lead role released last week on Friday. After opening on a good note, the business of the film witnessed immense growth in collections over its first weekend.
In this box office report, we take a look at the first Monday collections of Super 30 while comparing the same to previous releases of 2019. Collecting Rs. 6.92 cr, Super 30 manages to become the eighth highest first Monday grosser of 2019, surpassing previous releases like De De Pyaar De that collected Rs. 6.19 cr, and Student Of The Year 2 that had collected Rs. 5.25 cr. However, the business of Super 30 does not manage to out beat certain other films like Kabir Singh that collected Rs. 17.54 cr, Uri - The Surgical Strike that collected Rs. 10.51 cr, Total Dhamaal that collected Rs. 9.85 cr, Bharat that collected Rs. 9.20 cr, Gully Boy that collected Rs. 8.65 cr, Kesari that collected Rs. 8.25 cr, and Luka Chuppi that collected Rs. 7.90 cr.
As of now, Super 30 continues to run in theatres, and is expected to hold strong over the week. In fact, with previous releases Kabir Singh and Article 15 fading from theatres, the Hrithik Roshan starrer is expected to see an increase in collections.
