to a grand start given the fact that the film faced no major competition.
Looking at the Opening Day figures of Holiday, the film collected Rs. 12.18 cr on Friday, making it the fourth highest Opening Day Grosser of 2014. The first position is
held by Salman Khan starrer Jai Ho (Rs. 17.55 cr), the second position is held by Ranveer Singh- Arjun Kapoor starrer Gunday (Rs.16.12 cr) and the third position
is held by Arjun Kapoor starrer 2 States (Rs. 12.42 cr).
