The Kartik Aaryan – Kiara Advani starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was released two weeks ago to a good response from the audience and critics alike. After taking a good start the business of the Anees Bazmee directorial saw even further growth over its opening weekend and first week running. Following this, the Bhushan Kumar – Murad Khetani production, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 saw another spike in collections over its second weekend, with the subsequent weekdays also seeing its business remain more or less stable.
Now at the close of its second week running, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has managed to cross the Rs. 200 cr. at the worldwide box office in just 15 days of its release. Collecting Rs. 172.1 cr. gross from India and a further Rs. 28.35 cr. from overseas markets the total collections of the film are currently pegged at Rs. 200.45 cr. When compared to previous releases of 2022, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has managed to become the third Bollywood release to cross the Rs. 200 cr. mark. Following previous releases like The Kashmir Files and Gangubai Kathiawadi which cross Rs. 200 cr, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has emerged to be one of the biggest money spinners this year.
If that wasn’t all, the film continues to find patronage among the audience and still holds strong despite three new releases hitting screens. Given this current momentum, trade predictions state that the business of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 will cross the Rs. 150 cr. mark by the end of its third weekend at the India box office.
