Padmaavat is ruling the roost at the domestic box office. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali the film which hit screens on January 25 has been doing brisk business despite facing issues with its release. In fact the Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Shahid Kapoor starrer that kicked off 2018 on a high note has continued to do business well into its third week. Now on its fourth Sunday running Padmaavat has managed to draw in a further Rs. 4 cr, to become the fifth highest all time fourth Sunday grosser.
Though the business of Padmaavat on its fourth Sunday running does not manage to surpass the collections of previous releases like Baahubali 2 - The Conclusion that had collected Rs. 7.8 cr, 3 Idiots that collected Rs. 4.50 cr, Dangal that collected Rs. 4.24 cr, and PK that collected Rs. 4.01 cr on their fourth Sundays running, it out beats other films like Bajrangi Bhaijaan that collected Rs. 3.51 cr, Bahubali - The Beginning that collected Rs. 3.4 cr, and Tiger Zinda Hai that collected Rs. 3.27 cr.
