Paid-previews are in vogue

It's a common practice in Hollywood to have paid-previews of a soon-to-be-released film. And this trend is fast catching up in India.
The distributors of several keenly anticipated films have started organizing paid-preview shows of their films at select multiplexes, a day before the film's actual release. The aam janta can now catch their favorite film before its release by paying a nominal amount for its ticket. In the recent past, JO BOLE SO NIHAAL, D, PARINEETA and SARKAR were screened at select multiplexes of Mumbai on Thursdays, one day before their worldwide release.
This week, it's DUS. The film will be released at a few multiplexes of Mumbai on Thursday night [July 7]. A welcome strategy for sure!
