Madhavan in Rang De Basanti

It's now known that Arjun Rampal is no more a part of Rakyesh Omprakash Mehra's Rang De Basanti though the reasons for his ousting is still not clear. Rampal has been replaced by south actor Siddharth who played Vivek Oberoi's role in the Tamil version of Yuva, Ayitha Ezhuthu. Apart from that, another actor from the cast of Ayitha Ezhuthu has been added to the cast of Rang De Basanti. R Madhavan who played Abhishek Bachchan's character in the Tamil version is now roped in for an extended special appearance in Rang De Basanti. And contrary to popular belief, actress Soha Ali Khan is not paired opposite Aamir Khan in the film but is Madhavan's co-star.
Aamir has been a cordial co-star inviting Madhavan and his wife for dinner and making his south co-star feel comfortable in Mumbai. Madhavan's last Hindi movie was Dil Vil Pyar Vyar (2002). Very soon the actor will be seen in playing the title role in Ramji Londonwale.
