'Apaharan' with 'Mangal Pandey'

Launching the promo of an unreleased film when a keenly anticipated film hits the theatres has caught on in Bollywood. Yash Raj and RGV tend to promote their in-the-pipeline films with their new release. Now Prakash Jha has decided to follow suit!
Jha, who is ready with his new film APAHARAN, has instructed his distributors to screen the first promo of his film from August 12 onwards in theatres where MANGAL PANDEY opens. “We haven't tied up with Yash Raj [they're distributing MANGAL PANDEY], but with theatres/multiplexes directly,” Denis Selarka of Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision [Mumbai distributors of APAHARAN] confirms the development.
Incidentally, APAHARAN will be released worldwide on Thursday, November 3, not Friday, as is the practice!
