Emraan dons the gangster act

After immense speculation as to will Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar play the gangster in the Bhatt film, the camp has signed Emraan Hashmi for this Anurag Basu flick.
The dates with none of the actors we offered the role to, were working out and Anurag couldn't wait any longer to start the film, explains Mahesh Bhatt. Emraan Hashmi eagerly took the role and says that he has no hassles to take on the role, which has earlier been offered to other actors.
This film is a love triangle and tells the story of a gangster on the run and about his relationship with a woman. Contrary to the speculations Mallika Sherawat is not a part of the film due to price issues. The director is on a hunt for fresh faces. The film will go on floors by October.
