Naseer finalizes cast

Almost a month and a half ago, we broke the news of Naseeruddin Shah's plans to direct a film. At that point of time, Irrfan had been signed to enact one of the pivotal characters in the film, which will be produced by Shabbir Boxwala, an associate of Rajiv Rai who turned producer with DIL KA RISHTA [Arjun Rampal, Aishwarya Rai] and is now the Production Head of Sahara One Motion Pictures.
Here's the final star cast of Naseer's directorial debut: Arshad Warsi, Ayesha Takia, Konkona Sen Sharma, Paresh Rawal, Ratna Pathak-Shah, Irrfan and Vinod Khanna's nephew Karan Khanna. Produced by Shabbir's production outfit C.A.T. Productions [C for cinema, A for advertising, T for television], the film will have its first schedule in July-end in Mumbai, followed by a non-stop schedule from September in New York.
The title? “It's still under finalization,” Shabbir informs this writer. Watch this space!
