Ashu - Ghai join hands?

The industry is abuzz with the speculation that Ashutosh Gowariker has joined hands with Subhash Ghai to jointly produce the historical AKBAR-JODHA. Initially, there were talks that Firoz A. Nadiadwala and Ashu were working on the possibility of producing the film together. Speculations galore!
But what's the true picture? “I did meet Subhash-ji because he wants me to be one of the Board members of Whistling Woods International. Perhaps, that must've sent the tongues wagging. But there was no talk with Subhash-ji about any joint venture,” Ashu informs me. Earlier on, Ashu had refuted the rumors about joining hands with Nadiadwala.
Ashu is still working on the logistics before he gets headlong into filming. “Barring Hrithik Roshan, no one has been signed yet,” Ashu divulges, putting all speculation to rest.
