Priyadarshan mutes Kareena!

After Rani did a fabulous job of a physically handicapped girl in Black, Kareena is all set to prove her mettle in a similar role. Kareena plays a deaf-mute girl in Priyadarshan's yet untitled production with UTV.
Interestingly, the film also stars Kareena's real life beau Shahid Kapoor. After Fida fiasco, we wonder what does Priyadarshan think of the duo's onscreen chemistry? Not disheartened by Fida, he says that the duo is already doing two films together, besides his, so obviously the industry sees a lot of potential in their chemistry.
The supporting cast of the movie includes Isha Sharvani, Neha Dhupia, Suniel Shetty, Om Puri, Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav. While Kareena plays the deaf-mute lover of Shahid, Isha plays his widow.
Shahid plays a loser freshly out of college who suffers heavy business losses and commits suicide. The film starts with his suicide and then goes to the flashback dwelling on why he took a drastic step. Halfway the film viewers see Shahid alive. In the movie he is alive for some and for some he is dead. Towards the end, Shahid is sandwiched between the two women. After playing Kareena's uncle in Hulchul, Suniel plays her brother in this movie.
This twisted film will be shot in three schedules in Chennai, Hyderabad and Sri Lanka.
