Javed Akhtar makes his acting debut

Javed Akhtar, who was till now known for his brilliant writing skills will now display his acting talent. The famous lyricist, poet and writer will make his acting debut in Madhur Bhandarkar’s forthcoming film, Corporate. The 60 yr old veteran writer, who plays himself in the film, will appear in a scene where he is invited to give away the award for the best businessman of the year. But unlike most of the debutants, Javed Akhtar wasn’t at all nervous in the front of the camera. He says that since he appears on media regularly these days, facing the camera was not at all a difficult.
Corporate stars Bipasha Basu, Kay Kay Menon, Raj Babbar and Harsh Chhaya and is expected to release in April 2006.
