- Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani are making the sequel to MUNNABHAI M.B.B.S. called MUNNABHAI MEETS MAHATMA GANDHI;
- Yash Raj is going ahead with DHOOM 2, the sequel to DHOOM;
- Firoz A. Nadiadwala is ready with the sequel to HERA PHERI [called PHIR HERA PHERI], while cousin Sajid Nadiadwala is keen on making JUDWAA 2, JUDWAA 3…, after he attempted JUDWAA with Salman a few years ago;

Inspired by the success of the animation film HANUMAN, Percept Picture Company is now planning the sequel to the film, titled HANUMAN 2. Of course, everything is in the infancy stages right now since the sequel to HANUMAN will entail a lot of detailing and research. If it materializes, HANUMAN 2 will surely spark a new trend.
