‘Signal’ not with Ajay: Madhur

Sometime back, there was talk that Madhur Bhandarkar was in talks with Ajay Devgan for his next project SIGNAL. But, reportedly, the maker of CHANDNI BAR and PAGE 3 hasn’t zeroed on anyone yet. “Ajay hadn’t signed the film in the first place, we met casually a few times, that’s it. I’ve yet to choose the right face for the film,” Madhur sets the record straight.
Please continue. “All I know is that the cast would be a mix of new and established names. Although I don’t have anyone particular in mind, I’d go for actors who’d justify my script, not the market forces,” Madhur adds.
Currently shooting CORPORATE [it’s 40% ready right now, will be 80% complete in December and is slated for March-end release], Madhur plans to begin SIGNAL once CORPORATE releases. “SIGNAL will be the third film of the trilogy, after PAGE 3 and CORPORATE,” he adds.
Meanwhile, Madhur can’t stop praising Bipasha Basu and Kay Kay Menon for their dedication and work output. “Both are amazing actors. Kay Kay has already proved himself time and again, but Bipasha will make people take notice of her talent in CORPORATE. The kind of work she’s investing in the film is sure to fetch great dividends,” he states enthusiastically.
