Caught in the bluff!

One of the highlights of Rohan Sippy’s Bluffmaster is the music. There was a lot of excitement surrounding the song Sabse Bada Rupaiya picturised on Abhishek Bachchan. The makers had bought the rights for the original song from HMV. They had announced that though it was a remix version of the original, they had retained Mehmood’s original voice. Now, it turns out that it’s not Mehmood’s voice after all, but that of a singer named Chetan Sasithal who has sung in Mehmood’s voice. The singer stated that the quality of the original was not up to the mark and so it had to be re created and then remixed.
The Sippy’s however maintain that the song features Mehmood’s as well as Chetan’s voice. Chetan’s name has been credited as that of an additional vocalist. So we don’t know if the song indeed has Mehmood’s voice. All we can say is that it looks like the makers are living up to the name of the film!
