Sonali Kulkarni via Italy

We know a lot of actors claim to have gone international. But one actor who likes to keep to herself is none other than Sonali Kulkarni. She is playing the lead role in Italian film-maker Sergio Scapagnini film ‘Fire At My Heart’. The film was screened at IFFI this year and is slated for a February 2006 release.
The film is about a wounded soldier Eugenio who on returning from war falls in love with Graziella played by Sonali. Sonali started her Hindi film career with ‘Jahan Tum Le Chalo’ but was recognized in films like Mission Kashmir and Dil Chata Hai.
Incidentally this is not Sonali's first film with Sergio. She starred in his English flick ‘Vridavan Film Studios’ way back in 1995.
