John Abraham takes up the cause of illegal pig slaughter

We all know about John Abraham’s love for animals and his association with PETA. The actor was recently greatly disturbed when he saw footage of how pigs were being illegally killed in Goan backyards. The video was shot by shocked tourists at the Baga-Calangute stretch in Goa. Deciding to take some action, he has written a letter to the CM of Goa, Pratap Sinh Rane, imploring him to put an end to the killings. The animals are heartlessly killed by plunging sharp knives in their hearts. They die, writhing in pain.
PETA had written to the CM of Goa, back in September, 05, but there was no response.
John hopes that his initiative will put an end to this cruel practice. We hope so too.
