Kyon Ki… strikes gold

The producers of Kyon Ki… have a lot to smile about as they have tried up with jewellery brand D’damas. Yesterday at a press conference held at Taj Lands End, D’Damas promoted its new line of jewellery Collection G. But the star of the show was none other than Salman Khan who made an early entry compared to all his late entries. Salman was quite upbeat about his film which is slated to release this Wednesday but he made it quite clear that jewellery has nothing to do with the film and insisted that a brand can be promoted in a film as long as it makes sense and should not be forced upon.
He also said that this was one of the better films that he has done in his 15 years in the industry in reply to Priyadarshan’s statement of it being Salman’s finest performance to date. He lifted his arms flashing a shining bracelet and a gold watch when quizzed on what jewellery he likes wearing. Does this give us enough reason to call him Bollywood’s golden boy?
