Shemaroo announces multiple films: Ajay-Kareena-Vivek teamed

It has been an exciting year for Shemaroo Films. Barely six months after the production house released its first film [KUCHH MEETHA HO JAYE], it is busy lining up an impressive list of names for its forthcoming ventures.
Vishal Bharadwaj’s [of MAQBOOL and MAKDEE fame] film is the next project scheduled to go on floors in January 2006. An adaptation of Shakespeare’s masterpiece ‘Othello’, the film will stars Ajay Devgan, Vivek Oberoi and Kareena Kapoor. Talks are on with two other female leads and one more lead actor.
Also signed for another project is Sangeeth Sivan of KYAA KOOL HAI HUM fame. He will be directing Shemaroo’s forthcoming home-production.
Even as the nitty-gritty of this venture is being discussed, Shemaroo has also signed director Rohit Shetty, who had directed the Ajay Devgan-Abhishek Bachchan starrer ZAMEEN and is currently shooting GOLMAAL. The film will be scripted by Neeraj Vora.
