Will Ekta’s luck rub on Aftab?

Now this is a coincidence!
His last release, SHUKRIYA, was released exactly 52 weeks ago. A year later, Aftab Shivdasani’s next release KOI AAP SA hits the screens this Friday. “I haven’t watched KOI AAP SA, except while dubbing my portions,” Aftab says, “But I’d like to give the credit to producer Ekta Kapoor for promoting the film extensively.”
Naturally, Aftab is banking on KOI AAP SA to stabilize his career as a solo hero. “I had pinned high hopes on SHUKRIYA, but it didn’t work. That’s when I decided to let the film do the talking. I am not going to say much at this stage except pray that it fares well. KOI AAP SA is equally crucial for Ekta whose last film [KYAA KOOL HAI HUM] did extremely well at the ticket window,” he states with utmost honesty. Let’s hope Ekta’s luck rubs on the affable Affy.
Aftab will have two more releases before the year comes to a close: RGV’s MR. YA MISS, followed by JAANE HOGA KYA. A crucial year indeed!
