Rang De Basanti to release in early 2006

The Aamir Khan starrer Rang De Basanti, which was slated for a December release, will now hit theatres early next year. Though the date hasn’t been fixed, it will be approximately in the end of January or beginning of February. There is a lot of editing work that needs to be completed. According to the producers, February will be a good month to release the film. And it is beneficial for Rang De Basanti to be released at a later date to avoid the clutter of movies coming out in December. The producers also feel that internationally, February is a good month, because of the holidays.
So Aamir Khan fans will have to wait for a little more time to see their favorite star on screen. But we’re sure that it will be worth the wait!
