The BBC World Service Trust, along with Prasar Bharati and NACO have launched India’s biggest HIV/AIDS awareness mass media campaign. As part of this campaign, there will be a weekly show called Haath Se Haath Milaa. The show aims to identify a ‘Yuva Star’. This ‘Yuva Star’ could include health care workers who work with people living with HIV/AIDS, people who run NGOs and support groups for people living with HIV/AIDS, and people living with HIV/ AIDS. The show aims to know these people better in terms of their dreams, fears and also their favorite Bollywood stars.

Bollywood Star Vivek Oberoi also is a part of this campaign. He will be interacting with a Yuva Star who’s favorite actor happens to be Vivek himself. According to the representatives of BBC, Vivek was great to work with and he was overjoyed to interact with the Yuva Star. Other stars are also slated to appear on the show. It is not just about the actors appearing on the show. There is a high level of involvement between the ‘Yuva Star’ and the actors. The show aims to reach 58 million viewers.
