‘Shaadi No. 1’ shifted ahead?

There are whispers in the industry that Vashu Bhagnani’s keenly anticipated SHAADI NO. 1 may be pushed forward by a week. Meaning, the film won’t make it in the Diwali week [November 3], but on November 11.
“That’s completely untrue,” David Dhawan, who has directed this laughathon, quashes the rumors, “Why should we postpone our film? There’re no reasons that compel us to do so. We’ve already wrapped up our shooting and are also through with the post-production activities. The distributors have booked the theatres as well.”
Tell him that the publicity isn’t too aggressive this time and David retorts, “Vashu-ji and aggressive promotion go hand in hand. He knows how to publicize his films to the optimum. We’ll speed up the promotion as days pass by.”
Incidentally, this is the second time the Vashu-David combo have slated their film for Diwali, after the super successful BADE MIYAN CHOTE MIYAN.
