Dharam-Sunny Are 'Dharam-Veer'

Yusuf Khan, who made his directorial debut with the Sunny-Suniel-Celina-Amar Jadeja starrer KHEL, is planning a film with Sunny again. And this film brings Dharmendra and Sunny together after a gap of few years. The title: DHARAM-VEER.
Years ago, Dharmendra and Jeetendra enacted title roles in DHARAM-VEER and now, Yusuf has cast Dharam in the role of DHARAM, while beta Sunny will be seen as VEER. "But my DHARAM-VEER is different from what Manmohan Desai had attempted in the 1970s. There's no similarity whatsoever with that film," Yusuf enlightens me.
What is DHARAM-VEER all about? "It has loads of comedy, but when you cast two of the finest action heroes of Hindi cinema in a film, the emphasis has to be on action as well," Yusuf adds. While Padmalaya [makers of HIMMATWALA, MAWAALI, SOORYAVANSHAM] will produce the project in question, another interesting aspect of the film is that Anees Bazmee [director of NO ENTRY] has penned the story, screenplay and dialogues of the film.
DHARAM-VEER will start once Sunny returns from the North India schedule of Ammtoje Mann's film and works out the dates for the project. Meanwhile, the makers have approached Lara Dutta for one of the key characters in the film.
