‘Salaam | Namaste’ 2 week worldwide gross: Rs. 31 crores

In a written statement to this writer, Yash Raj Films has informed that the 2 week gross of SALAAM | NAMASTE is approx. Rs. 31 crores. The breakdown is as follows:-
U.K.: $ 934,200
U.S.A.: $ 1.08 million
Australia: $ 241,000 [highest ever]
U.A.E.: $ 350,000 [1st week]
Total Overseas Gross [in 2 weeks]: $ 3.06 million – INR 13.50 crores
Total India Gross [in 2 weeks]: INR 17.50 crores
Total Worldwide Gross [in 2 weeks]: INR 31 crores
The statement adds that SALAAM | NAMASTE is by far the biggest solo hit of Saif Ali Khan’s career and will surpass even HUM TUM.
