Shaadi No. 1 to release as per schedule

Like every year, even this Diwali, many prominent film makers plan to release their films. Knowing that this is the peak holiday season in India, releasing the film at this time ensures throngs of people in the theatres. This year the Diwali biggies include Garam Masala and Kyon Ki and incidentally both are directed by Priyadarshan. Vashu Bhagnani's multi-starrer comedy caper Shaadi No.1 is also slated for a Diwali release.
But recently there were rumors that Shaadi No.1 might be postponed because the major theatre chains are booked by Garam Masala and Kyon Ki. Apparently, even the overseas rights of the film were not yet sold. However, when we spoke to Vashu Bhagnani, he said, "Shaadi No.1 will release on November 3, as per schedule. I have sold the domestic rights 6 months ago and the international rights have also been sold to Eros"
In fact Vashu has even finalized the premiere of Shaadi No.1 on November 2 at Cinemax multiplex in Mumbai. Going by the music launches of his film, we're sure that the premiere of the film will be nothing short of an extravaganza.
