INOX to venture into film distribution

After scaling the heights of success with their multiplexes in various Indian cities, INOX now has plans for film distribution. The group has been involved in production already with Mangal Pandey. Now it will be turning to distribution with prestigious projects like Priyadarshan's Garam Masala, Rakyesh Mehra's Rang De Basanti, AB Corp's Family, Prakash Jha's Apaharan as well as Kyon Ki. As of now the group wants to concentrate only on Bollywood films, but eventually they see themselves go international. They have already created a name for themselves with their multiplexes. Getting into distribution was but natural for them. INOX has seven multiplexes and 30 screens across 6 cities in India.
