Krrish's shooting in progress in Singapore

Yes people… It's the inevitable. Krrish is in the limelight again! The sequel to Rakesh Roshan's highly successful Koi Mil Gaya is the first film to be shot under the 'Film in Singapore' Scheme of the Singapore Tourism Board. It will take more than 60 days for the shooting to complete. Before the shooting commenced, there was a prayer ceremony which was the coming together of the unique traditions of Singapore as well as India. Majority of the film is shot in Singapore in various locales like the arts center, the Esplanade, the Zoo, Pulau Ubin island and even the East Coast Parkway for a highway scene. Rakesh Roshan decided on Singapore as the location for the film when he visited the place for the IIFA Awards.
The film stars Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra in lead roles. Priyanka plays a journalist whereas Hrithik plays a super human. The film has been in the news time and again for reasons like its star cast and exorbitant budget. It is scheduled to hit the theatres by June/July 2006.
