Farhan Akhtar turns to the small screen

Reality-based shows and talent hunts are quite the rage these days. And the producers of these shows ensure that their TRP's keep increasing by roping in Bollywood personalities from time to time. The latest Bollywood personality to be part of a television program is director Farhan Akhtar, who will judge Star One's dance based show Nach Baliye. This show will have couples from the television industry participating. The best dancing couple will emerge the winner. Viewers will also get glimpses into the personal lives of these couples.
Not too many people know, but Farhan has been quite a dancer in his heydays. He is a self confessed Michael Jackson fan and was quite an expert at break-dancing during the 80s. It appears that Farhan's whole family is turning to television. His cousin, ace choreographer Farah Khan was a judge for the extremely popular Indian Idol, whereas his father is a judge for Fame Gurukul, on Sony.
