Saroj Khan: From ace choreographer to T.V producer

Choreographer Saroj Khan is now turning TV producer. She has shot the pilot episode of her first serial and has sent it to Doordarshan for approval. The serial is a murder mystery starring Gitanjali Tikekar (Aporna of Kasauti Zindagi Kay), Ayub Khan, Sumeet Sehgal, Murli Sharma and Mushtaq Khan. She is looking forward to working with DD as DD’s reach is much higher than the satellite channels. Other projects in the pipeline are her Bhojpuri directorial debut Panditji Batai Na Biyah Kab Hoyee, starring Nagma and Ravi Kissen.
