By IndiaFM News Bureau, September 3, 2005 - 03:12 IST

In the recent past, many Bollywood classics have been revived or re-released. While Mughal-E-Azam was entirely revived in the new colored format, Sholay and Shaan were re-released in brand new prints.

The next classic to hit the theatres again is none other than Manoj Kumar’s Kranti, 24 years after its first release. Released in 1981, the movie will be soon re-released in after 24 years in Mumbai. A star studded premiere will be held at 24 Karat, Jogeshwari, along with 8-10 prints at other cinemas in the city. Manoj Kumar’s movies are considered to be evergreen classics that led to the decision to re–release the film.
