Imtiaz’s journey with Deols in train and on highway

He directed the youngest of the Deols, Abhay, in Socha Na Tha produced by Abhay’s uncle, Dharmendra. And his directorial debut has impressed the Deols so much that he seems to have turned the Deol’s ‘family director’. We are talking about Imtiaz Ali who will soon embark on his trilogy journey with Deols making a film with Sunny and Bobby each.
When Bobby saw the rushes of Socha Na Tha, he thought that Imtiaz had great potential, and immediately expressed a desire to work with him. Imtiaz, on his part worked on a script for Bobby which Bobby loved and the duo will now be working together. Tentatively titled Train, the film is about a couple who meet on train.
On the other hand, the film starring Sunny Deol is called Highway. According to Imtiaz, the character compliments Sunny’s personality, as the character is tough on the exterior but soft inside.
The film starring Sunny Deol is to be produced by Sahara One Motion Pictures, whereas the one with Bobby Deol will be produced by Shreya Creations and HMV. That apart, Imtiaz has also signed a film with Tips.
