ITC’s John Players ropes in Hrithik Roshan as brand ambassador

All the brands want to cash in on the popularity of Bollywood stars. Now it’s the turn of ITC’s John Players that has signed on Hrithik Roshan as their brand ambassador. Roshan will endorse the entire range that John Player had to offer from work clothing to party wear.
Positioned as ‘style with a playful side’, this year will see the brand increasing its number of stores from 45 to 100. In a short span of time, John Player’s has emerged as one of the country’s leading apparel brands.
Hrithik Roshan is seen as someone who is stylish. The youth aspires to be like him. He represents all the qualities that that the brand stands for. The brand recently won the ‘Rising Star Brand of the year’ award at the 5th Annual Images Fashion Awards 2005. The clothes are extremely stylish, yet affordable. Roshan will be giving his inputs for the Signature line that will be out in the market soon. The brand’s fall/winter campaign, featuring the star will be seen in October. Hrithik on his part said that he was looking forward to his association with the brand.
