Tanushree’s kiss with Emraan chopped off Click here to add this article to My Clips

By IndiaFM News Bureau, August 30, 2005 - 04:01 IST

Chocolate director, Vivek Agnihotri is fuming. And his anger is directed at none other than the female lead of his film, Tanushree Dutta. The reason being that now Aashiq Banaya Aapne will be Tanushree’s debut film. According to Vivek, she signed Aashiq Banaya Aapne behind his back, in spite of being told that she was not to sign any film before Chocolate released. He is very upset because, he was the one who gave Tanushree her first break in Bollywood and she has played dirty with him.

Tanushree’s role in Chocolate is that of a seductress. There was a seduction scene with Anil Kapoor and a kiss with Emraan Hashmi. But these scenes were chopped because Vivek wanted to present her ‘aesthetically.’ However, the actress has done some steamy scenes in Aashiq Banaya Aapne which might affect the viewer ship of Chocolate. The producer of Chocolate, Ragini completely supports Vivek by stating that they were the ones who groomed Tanushree. And she has been ungrateful.

Tanushree gives her side of the story by saying that she was never bound by any kind of agreement. She says that Vivek’s anger at his movie releasing later is justified, but she can’t really help it because the release dates are not in her hands. Supporting her is Aaditya Datt, director of Aashiq Banaya Aapne, who says that if Vivek is so upset with his movie releasing second, he should have thought of a contract earlier. That’s good advice, Aaditya! But looks like, Vivek learnt his lesson the hard way!
