Hussain’s generosity for ‘Iqbal’ cast

We did tell you how impressed M.F. Hussain was after he watched Subhash Ghai’s IQBAL, directed by Nagesh Kukunoor. Reportedly, Hussain decided to put the theme of IQBAL on canvas since the never-say-die spirit of the protagonist in the film impressed the painter a great deal.
Here’s the latest on IQBAL and Hussain. The renowned painter will display the paintings of IQBAL prior to the release of the film and proceeds from the sales would be distributed to actors Shreyas Talpade [who enacts the title role], Shweta Prasad, Pratiksha Lonkar and Yateen Karyekar for infusing life into their characters.
Meanwhile, IQBAL will be premiered on August 24 in Mumbai and the next day, August 25, in New Delhi.
