Riteish Deshmukh injured

Trying to be a perfectionist can take its toll. That’s what happened to Riteish Deshmukh who in an attempt to make his film shot look more realistic ended up hurting himself severely. It happened on Monday when Riteish was shooting with Abhishek Bachchan for Rohan Sippy’s Bluff Master at a dance bar in Bandra. Abhishek plays a conman and Riteish his disciple in the film.
The scene was an action sequence where the duo is surrounded by goons who are to attack them. One of the goons from the gang was to hit Riteish with a steel gun but the guy was going slow in his action to ensure he didn’t hurt Riteish. But Riteish wasn’t convinced and asked him to make a fast move. And while Ritesh was supposed to veer off he unfortunately lost control and took the fast hit on his jaw. For a moment he couldn’t figure out what had happened until he was taken to Lilavati hospital where he was given four stitches on his jaw.
The shoot has been temporarily postponed until Riteish gets fine and is back on the sets.
