Sooraj’s next: Inside info

Ever since this writer broke the news about Sooraj R. Barjatya casting Shahid Kapoor in his next venture [backed by Shahid’s version], there were whispers that the director of such hits as MAINE PYAR KIYA and HUM AAPKE HAIN KOUN had also signed Salman Khan for the project in question. Meaning, Sooraj is making a two-hero film now.
But these are mere rumors. A trustworthy source close to Salman Khan has informed this writer that Sooraj has signed Salman for an altogether different project. And like the Shahid film, that will also be a solo hero project.
As for the Barjatyas signing any third actor, it seems like an April fool joke planted by someone in early August.
