Javed Akhtar releases ‘Chocolate’ music

In the past, music release functions have been held at various venues, from five star hotels to inside an aircraft. But this was a hatke music launch.
The team behind CHOCOLATE, producers Ragini-Vibha and director Vivek Agnihotri, launched the music in a movieplex. The plush Fame Adlabs in Andheri was the chosen venue and prior to the music launch, the lobby of the multiplex was transformed into a lounge, with guests enjoying the wine-n-cheese affair.
A number of promos of CHOCOLATE were unveiled on the occasion, followed by the music launch ceremony at the hands of veteran Javed Akhtar. Though the mandatory speeches were made on the occasion, at least two statements stood out –
Vivek Aganihotri: “I’d like to thank the person who, when I was 10, took me to a cinema hall in Bhopal to watch DEEWAAR. It’s because of that film that I got hooked on to the world of movies.”
Javed Akhtar: “In the world of cinema, there’s always plagiarism or revolution. Going by the promos of CHOCOLATE, it seems like a revolution.” Well spoken indeed… T-Series is marketing the music.
